The scientific term for brain freeze is “sphenopalatine ganglioneuralgia”
One habit of intelligent humans is being easily annoyed by people around them, but saying nothing in order to avoid a meaningless argument
getting easily annoyed / having anger issues has nothing to do with intelligence

Gatorade originated as a rip off of the Australian beverage Crocodrink
Gatorade was designed for the Florida Gators because they suck and asked scientists to make them a sport drink to improve their performance. Gator Aid --> Gatorade
One habit of intelligent humans is being easily annoyed by people around them, but saying nothing in order to avoid a meaningless argument
So ones intelligence then can be measured by one's sense of repression, or maybe how aversive towards socializing they already are from things like increased sensitivity to stimulus?
Said "meaningless argument" is effective for it's room for catharsis, like a lesser more social form of a Bar Brawl. What is seen to the "smart person" as a waste of time actually is partially responsible for a supposedly less intelligent person finding peace at all through said lack of bottling. Bottling can lead to not just excess partitioned stress, but also fixations and obsessions if there are no outlets, which could condition someone to work around their flaws through "intelligent" workarounds (corkscrewed ways to avoid directly handling the problem). While these handicaps can train towards a faster and potentially more creative brain, it also comes with complications.
In many cases, intelligence jinxes people, but I think that said jinxing is responsible for elements of intelligence in the first place (ie: Autism). When things come easily, people don't have to try as hard and won't pay as much attention, while even your run of the mill OCPD victim is bound to have increased functionality in key areas. Even people with Tourettes are supposedly better at mentally keeping track of time than usual.
Effectively, the room for growth in one's intelligence is adaptive. Even a genius will look like a nobody if nothing pushes that potential from their flaws not granting limiting constraints, while someone else could appear smart simply from having been pushed to try so hard (ie: the asian child rearing stereotype).
The question is in if the unpushed genius would be as annoyed by people being around them when compared to the low-potential pushed stress-case that only thinks it's "genius" from constant reinforcement and expectations. Surviving constraints are what awaken the room for further potential growth, but it's like filing a knife down: The metal thins out more and more until it snaps.
