Upon one day, there was an island so beautiful that most turned their eyes away from its sight. They could not handle its brightness. Instead they took to bickering, science and profit. What they mistook for wisdom was purely vanity that clouded there senses and made them weak to the world. The first conventions were always in flux and people were unable to free themselves from the binding, unable to work together, falling deeper and deeper into a meekness that would be exploited by the ugly head of despotism.
It was not until the spirit was ignited by a few who were disillusioned but not to the point of inaction, decided to find this island. When they traveled, they found there a violent and savage people but a people nonetheless. Everything told them to turn away and do something else. Perhaps join the military and find prestige in the ranks of soldiers. Maybe stay within the comfort of an educational institution, where they could believe in the farce of constant gain of knowledge and be provided by the state. Or they could try and become the everyman and find brotherhood in the ranks of those who with their flesh and blood tire day in and day out, so that they may keep their families warm. These few though said no to all of this. None of these paths could answer for them the questions they held in life that caused them pain. Not physical pain but a strain on the soul that seemed to drown them everyday, bringing them way from the pioneer spirit that had made their country so proud to begin with.
They wanted to find the secret of the century, and the only place it could be hidden was in the jungle where a many plants grow. It was in these plants that a secret medicine existed. A medicine that could cure the new depression that had creeped into the minds of modern existence. To unlock the real creative potential of man, man must find his nature which he has become so estranged from. This first plant rejuvinated the sexual energy that modern societies now have such a lust for. It allowed for them to desire boldness and courage again, spirits that have long been dormant within the human soul.
And more were bound to be found... In due time though... Only in due time...
