Why is purple so popular here? 

 Ive noticed since highschool that weirdos and social outsiders 100% of the time will always list purple as their first or second favorite color. I realized i had fully transitioned from a goth weirdo to a basic bitch when i realized i dont like purple anymore.

I don't think purple is a weirdo's colour, like most of the people I've known like purple and I've known a lot of very normal people

it's just a good colour, it has good associations and it's a mix between two other common favourite colours
