I'm not suggesting anything, that's what he told me. If he's going to do more than host the site for free, he'd probably like some cash incentive.
He told me he was workin on an updated version of the site and thus updating Or working much on the old version is no longer important... he said he is focusing more of his attention on the new update coming
all over heard about the new update is he wants to add categories
and the problem with the search function isn’t that he doesn’t want to fix it, it’s more so that the Search function can’t host that much material. So to make it work he chose to only have it cover smaller areas of search if that makes sense.
so it’s less detailed, but that allows it to still *kind of* work
where as before it was buckling under that weight of too much data and, it wouldn’t work at all period.
I even asked him if I paid him would he fix it and he said no because it would require switching the entire site to a new host
edit: this discussion was had long before covid so, things may of changed since then idk, like he may be not focusing on SC at all anymore due to extenuating circumstances.
