I wonder if a deep-mind plus attention mechanism approach to market prediction would be fruitful. This of course assumes the Efficient Market Hypothesis being incorrect, but in all honesty, I find that hypothesis quite silly. There seems to be data utility beyond E_n-1 in the time series and as such the system cannot be said to function on Martingale or Markov processes. Above average traders, those who are profitable and actively investing, use pattern and timeseries analysis strategies to capture value. If they really are predicting and not merely getting lucky than a deep-mind + attention mechanism approach would most likely be better attuned to recognize profitable patterns better than any human being.

Experimented with Risk neutrality today.

Is a difficult trade in some senses because despite reducing risk the reward if one maintains their usual aggression hardly makes it worth it. It seems extra aggression per each trade is necessary in order to come out with a substantial profit. This aggression must take the form of holding positions longer than what one normally would, you obviously don't want to make larger purchases because then your risk would no longer be neutral or if you maintained neutrality reduce BP for future hedging.

Lmao.

Lone traders will fail in the long run.

Join a company. Work for them. They have inside trading information, that's how people get rich.

I know I said I am leaving but I had to come here to get some attention off this.

I had a reaaaallly good feeling about Ethereum today.

It broke the psychological barrier of 1000$, did a little testing around the 11xx side and fell back to make another attempt, and even though I do not trade at these RSI levels I decided to make an exception cuz the market is bullish, and I was feeling confident so I decided to open a x10 leverage long position.

I had about 820$ in USDT laying around so I decided to borrow some nearly 8 eth with it at 1035. I panic exited at 1100 on my way down from 1125 cuz it looked like a dump.

In the span of 6 hours I made 651$. Absolute bonkers.

The Macbook Pro scam

  1. Find a Macbook Pro 2013, cheapest on ebay.
  2. Use this guide to edit the specs (i.e make processor i7 if its i5, make the ram 16gb if its 8gb, make the ssd 512gb if 128gb etc) https://www.idownloadblog.com/2017/01/13/how-to-modify-about-this-mac-hackintosh/
  3. Ask a new macbook pro 2015 seller for a serial number, say its so u can check warranty
  4. Put this serial number in the "About this mac" part, to make it look like it has ongoing warranty
  5. Sell it for 300$ more.

I did this 2 days ago, the results are a success. this months rent is covered.
