Rapper Kanye West celebrated the Fourth of July by once again promising to run for president, and he picked up some unlikely support on Twitter after posting the message.
"We must now realize the promise of America by trusting God, unifying our vision and building our future," he wrote. "I am running for president of the United States! #2020VISION."

Man this dude is unapologetically riding the lightning. I know he self-medicates, and has since he was five at the behest of his aunt from how she basically fetishized and embraced the power of his Imagination, a callback that still guides his hand to this day, and remains why he won't properly treat himself, but jeez.
How he sees his disorder:
What I suspect is going on here:
1) North West likely was mocked for her mother being in Playboy, and came home to ask Kanye about it.
2) Kanye got triggered and entered an episode (or was already in one), leading to him demonizing Playboy in the name of his complicated relationship with God, one where he thinks his Mania is basically God speaking through him.
3) This put him in between a rock and a hard place in his mind, considering Kim did Playboy herself in 2010 (and the Ray-J sex tape in 2003 that was released in 2007).
4) His political rally is clearly after they argued about it, and was likely after they were wanting to 'lock him up'. He even references their potential for divorce in it while being thankful that she saved North West's life, and practicality-wise he had this rally the day before the cutoff with no submission of candidate signatures.
5) He literally is panicking and crying in the rally, near a breaking point, as he finds himself comparing his wanting to kill/abort North West to his father having wanted him killed/aborted. He ends up in a confused state of mind between "women should have choices" and "if I were aborted there'd be no Kanye", concluding that people who keep their children need an incentive to do so in the modern world as the eventual solution for his mid-ground confusion panic cope.
6) Dave Chappelle accidentally rubs salt in the wound: "THANK YOU DAVE FOR HOPPING ON A JET TO COME SEE ME DOING WELL".
In the end, Kanye is now scared and wants to hide from the public while he just "works on his music". His 'sprain' is nearing a break, and as a result he needs a break from his own self-inflicted folly. It's complicated in that his belief in the power of his Mania is now outright tied to his religious beliefs, in that in order to fix himself he'd have to stop being as much of an artist in pain, to stop "channeling God". He sees "The Devil" in people pushing him or creating obstacles for his racing thoughts when he feels like a victim.
