May 2018, I just arrive in hong kong for the first time. I go outside the airport and buy a bus ticket to go from airport island to main island central.
The bus arrives. Right when I attempt to make my entrance I get hit on the shoulder by an old womans cane.
She points behind her revealing a long queue for the bus. Tells me in engrish "GO BACK"
I am enlightened. In turkey we just push each other in the bus. This was order and civilization.
