Bedroom #2 (The Baby Room)
My sister has a baby girl on the way so I decided instead of turning it into an office
I'm going to turn it into a baby room. I'm going to add a twin bed with trundle
underneath for mom and baby to sleep on when the baby needs a nap, and also a crib.
Exterior Room (Shared Office + Pool Lounge)
I ran by the idea of building an exterior office space on the property and my mom
liked the idea of it and said sure so. I'm looking at frame options to get for
the build itself, looking at different styles and prices and then I have to run it by them.
And then we'll make it cute, put a wifi router, AC, and electrical (lights and ceiling fans). No need for plumbing.
My mom has always wanted an exterior room in the backyard that was just for
lounging by the pool while the kids swam, or a personal nook for her to read and write in.
(Yes my mom writes, imagine that- apple doesn't fall far from the tree).
So yeah it'll be a nice multi-use space for lounging by the pool,
with two desks one for me one for her and, lots of natural light.
It will need to be completely "sealed" though. As Florida's conditions will
absolutely destroy anything that's not bullet proof.
I do want to make sure the couch is pull out so you can sleep guests.
Attic (Recreational Area + Workout Space)
The attic turned kids recreational space / work out space is making progress,
my dad is more focused on that project and has taken it on.
I'm looking forward to having an at home gym,
as I miss being able to go to the gym pre-covid era.
My Bathroom
It's finished construction wise, but there are a few tweaks.
We have a leaky shower head and a light that won't stop flickering.
I've organized all the products and things though into their spaces,
I just need to get some decor for finishing touches.
My Bedroom
I got everything off the floor and my bed is centered now. It looks nicer that way.
I've also done all the laundry and hung it all up. But that's all the progress I've made there.
I wanted to go to the store today to get new bedding for the bed, but due to having a known
exposure to covid, it would be unfair to be running around possibly an asymptomatic super spreader.
So I'm waiting the results of my test. I might just order everything online anyway.
