Thats one of the reasons i prefer starbucks is the bitterness to the coffee. Dunkin is super like, sweet naturally. It tastes watered down to me because it doesn’t have any bite. I want it rich and dark. Don’t get me wrong a dunkin coffee is cute, it has it’s moments, but yeah. Most of the time i will prefer the rich and dark type of roast.
Dunkin is coffee to wake you up. Starbucks is boujee coffee made to taste fancy at the expense of caffeine. Roasting coffee beans destroys caffeine, which is why blonde roaste really wakes you up and why decaffeinated coffee is so dark.
Hot Chocolate > Coffee.
Eh, i consider these drinks to have different purposes and wouldn't outright weigh them against each other.
I would, they both have a startling amount of available variety for what they are and they achieve similar purposes at different measurements. They're often even sold in the same stores.
No matter how you slice it, Hot Chocolate > Coffee.
Tea > coffee as a hot caffeinated beverage, but Hot Cocoa doesnt have enough caffeine to even be considered in the wake-up drink class.
Hot Chocolate works better for me, and my body feels healthier with it. Coffee meanwhile tastes like shit, makes me jittery, and can push me to act less sane (somewhat in the short term, but cumulatively in the long term). The increase in stress perception is a real issue for daily caffeine drinkers.
Hot Chocolate is tasty and revitalizing, while Coffee is basically poison. It's literally leeching the water from you.
