once upon a time there was a glorious mountain
and on top of the mountain was a plum tree
the mountain had wonderful flowers
and spring rivers
and crystal geode caves
the rivers were laced with delicious fish
fresh water angel fish
the mountain top had only the season of eternal spring
there was also a salt water lagoon filled with coral and colorful fish and mermaids
and rose bushes so big they were trees, and on top of the mountain was a small, white cottage with a vegetable garden
at the bottom of the mountain was a barren dessert, and the only thing in it was a plum tree, an unstable plum tree that could whither and die any moment in the heat
and there in the desert lived a herd of turtles
there were 2 yellow turtles called the lemon turtles
and all the other turtles were grey
and illogical
and dull, and acted very cruel to the yellow turtles. the female turtle, had come from the mountain, and it was so wonderful, and when she saw the desert she cried in pain from how much she hated it. but she had come here to care for her grandma, who was a bird, for she was told by her mother if she did not leave temporarily from the mountain top, and go care for the bird, the grandma bird would die. but this was a lie from her mother. the male yellow turtle, was in on this lie, and didnt tell the female turtle at the time, to get her to stay longer, because he wanted the female yellow turtle as his bride. finally, when the grandma bird was better, the female yellow turtle said "it is time for me to go back to the mountain top, where the spring is lovely. i used to live here in the desert before i came back here, being hurt everyday by the grey turtles, but i returned so that i could care for grandma bird. the grey turtles even now treat me cruelly, and it is time for me to go home." but the male yellow turtle said "please, do not go, stay and be my bride!" the female yellow turtle said, "i will only stay with you as your bride if you promise me to return to the mountain top with me next year and we stay there forever together." and the male yellow turtle asked "is there a plum tree atop the mountain there? it is my dream to become a big strong turtle from the plums of a plum tree, and have the world at my feet. i currently eat from this plum tree down here, though it is small and unstable in the desert heat, and could die any day." he pointed to a small, mangled plum tree with his paw. "yes," said the female turtle "there is a better plum tree there than here. "then i promise this to you." said the male turtle.
the male yellow turtle, sat under the small dingy plum tree, and he ate plums there
the female lemon turtle, yearned her whole life for the mountain, finally went to the mountain, was tricked into leaving it, but knew that male yellow turtle would return to the mountain with her.
she saw it there, on the mountain top. her whole life when she would be mistreated by the grey turtles, tears would well in her eyes, and she would look to the mountain top for comfort, knowing one day she would go there and feel joy.
and so the female said to the male yellow turtle
"lets go live in the small white cottage together on top of the mountain."
and the male turtle said
"will there be plums there?"
the female said "yes," she reminded the male turtle "i see a big fat plum tree on the top, better than any plum tree i have ever seen before, and better than this one."

but the grey turtles said "leave male turtle alone, he needs to stay in the desert here so he can eat plums and grow big and strong!"
"but," said the female turtle "there is a plum tree up there!" but everyone ignored the female turtle, and the male turtle was convinced by the grey turtles. at first the female turtle was sad, and planned to stay in the desert, but then she learned of how she was tricked out of her home by her mother and how her new husband helped the mother, and so the female turtle said "i will go to the mountain top alone, then!" and began to journey to the mountain, and paid 100$ for a ride from a donkey to the top of the mountain with her turtle credit card, so she could be happy again. but male turtle said "no, i will go with you. but you must promise me, if we get to the top of the mountain, and there are no plums, we must come back to the desert." so the female turtle lost that 100$ because she had to wait for the male turtle to be ready to leave, and the female turtle promised. they grey turtles started yelling at the female turtle, saying the male turtle had to stay to eat plums, but this time, the male turtle ignored them, and they went to the top of the mountain together, and lived in the little white cottage, and no grey turtles ever hurt either of the lemon turtles again, and they had lemon turtle babies,  and the male turtles ate so many plums he grew wings, and they were sweeter plums, the end.
