I tend to be pretty straight-forward about my opinions versus when I'm defending an argument that isn't my own.

No it's legit, but I wouldn't call it 'undying'. There's depths to the both of them that offer us more than enough room to appreciate it in the right context. 

The way he sometimes fans the flames of conflicts here is pretty trollish.

I see it more as 'getting to the point'. 

Yet there's some accurate analysis hidden within the trolling. I don't believe everything he does is a troll move but he does make enough of them to be a troll.

Maybe it's not trolling? 

Ok it's like, if trolling was like being say, a wolf you wouldn't be full wolf you'd be more like half wolf.

I admit to occasional trolling myself, but I often just say what I think so I suppose I'm not that different.
