Because it doesn't help black lives. When white America sees these riots on the television, it just reinforces the very racial stereotypes people are trying to do away with and that could lead to even more police brutality, even if there is police reform legislation. Not only that, but it's also effecting black businesses in black neighborhoods which hurts black jobs and black wealth. It's basically making the cause for black lives look bad, and that's not ok. If you wanna see an example of somebody who really made a difference, look at the black people who by working with Trump got some prison reform passed. That's the kind of thing I'd like to see in regards to George Floyd. Not this rioting.
