The riots in New York off are off the chain
The protests / demonstrations have been happening in 140 cities across US
not all of them are violent riots
in other cities fully armed military are guarding the streets
in my city they issued a lockdown to not allow anyone out of their homes but among the people on my Facebook aka locals and from texts I’m receiving by people I know personally, the locals I know are still attending the protests
I’m very worried because my girlfriend is one of them
social media is posting black out screens to spread awareness of the movement and linking to websites that instruct you how you can contribute
Facebook twitter Instagram and tumblr are densely flooded with these posts
store owners and young people attending the protests or perhaps in the wrong place at the wrong time are being beaten into the ground and some killed. Stores are being looted.
Military is hoping they will call upon the national guard soon because the police are out numbered in some areas where the riots are particularly violent
people in California are getting tear gassed
Yeah, that looks like glitching, not hacking. The reason I say that is because of the chopped and duplicated frames. I used to have satellite TV at one point of my life, so I seen a lot of that. This is all fiber optics, so I don't even know how this could be a hack.
If you look at old station hijackings like the Max Headroom Incident, people would jam/override the airwaves. I'm not even sure how people can do that over fiber optic without splicing a line.
