The sleep deprivation challenge

Using no external substances (no stimulants of any kind, pills, coffee, cocaine, etc.)

no drugs.

Safe challenge only. Don’t eat things in excess or do things that will physically harm you. Please be safe.

But it would be really interesting to see how dumb people act after not having slept 24 hours.

I personally would not be able to keep myself awake

some people can operate better than others

but it gave me the idea because of this video

And i found it kind of entertaining just seeing how people are at 5am after they’ve stayed up all night, it’s kind o funny. Lol

it would be kind of a fun challenge to go viral on youtube but the thing is-

i worry about a lot of these challenges being unsafe for people like, mentally, physically, etc. and I’m not super about a lot of them so- i don’t want to see a fun harmless like “idea” get taken too far, by someone- for views, and then they end up hurting themselves.

So for that reason I’m hesitant about it but, it’s kind of a funny idea. I just know how the nternet is and, it always goes wrong somewhere... lol

On the other hand, if you’re interested in this kind of experiment- google the Russian sleep experiment. It’s a documentary on the experiment that Russian government did on war criminals (an alternative to a death sentence, they volunteer to be expriemented on) and they gave them a drug that did not allow them to fall asleep- ever. And then observed what happened to them.

There is also a rare sleep disorder that causes people to die, and it’s genetic. So. I guess the challenge could even be viewed as insensitive to people with sleep disorders that cause a lot of negatives for them.

I believe there is a few other documentaries on sleep experiements though so yeah, just google that- don’t attempt to do this to yourself like

one time i tried to stay up for three days and i started hearing shit, it wasn’t fun, it was terrifying lol

I guess to make it more standardized

you could start off the challenge well rested and energized, answer a series of questions that are given to you.

And then when you are at the end of the challenge (if you can make it) answer more questions that are given to you.

and look at how delayed response time is and how scattered train of thought is

It’s an interesting documentary to watch if you’re interested in the concept of sleep deprivation

I was just trying to share content I found entertaining

is it completely factual of course not, it could be totally urban legend
