they're much better. i had two rats for awhile until one nibbled a little big on the other ones tail and the original owner got mad at me cause she thought i wasn;t feeding them. We were feeding them but one is just shit blind and super fat (which is the one that eat some of the other ones tail) and so I think she just got hungry at night and took some chomps.
Get two females if you can, the males aren't as intelligent

Why rats instead of cats though?
it's not about liking rats it's about hating cats, isn't that peculiar
Cats take a lot of time, patience, and understanding to really bond with.
We can't just expect everyone to understand how to do it, especially if their appraisals are mostly about power.
