Emo became too corporate to go back to.

The new emo is Billie Eilish
If "the new" means "the radio", then I'm (somewhat) inclined to agree (she's marketting closer to "modern apath", which is snarkier and stoic).
Internet-wise we've had Witch House for a few years, but it's still going pretty strong.
