glad to see them bringing that adam sandler era 2002 humor
didn't think i'd ever see that appear in film again tbh
the movie "caste in the ground" .. the trailer, just the trailer hurt for me to watch
oof. way too real.
at first i was mad cuz i was like "great, a movie sensationalizing the opioid crisis."
and then it went from anger to just pure sadness, it looks like torture to watch that movie idk why anyone would but
they didn't expose the true hell of living like that- but it's more from the perspective of one kid watching everyone else go down around him to it which is just... even harder to watch. ouch.
dunno why but that one like, genuinely hurts to look at for me.
it looks like a well made movie but i just, personally can't watch that, it'd be suffering. too close to home. :'(
yes. lol i like it.
not only did they choose a gay couple, they showed hints of him "cross dressing", and the couple was interracial
and the man wasn't stereotyped into that peg-hole "gay fem boy" he was taken seriously and had real character development beyond acting "gay" and he was for all intensive purposes, appeared very normal. (news flash, a lot of gay people don't have a huge sign on their head scremaing gay on it stop stereotyping please thanks)
and ontop of that, the woman that chose to put a "minority" or POC in the spotlight, she actually had african american features and wasn't "light skinned" and wasn't an "oreo"
it's like, if you're going to talk about black women's rights, in the actors guild, but then you chose to cast that role with a girl thats hardly black in any essence of the word, ... that would of pissed me off.
but this was so refreshing.
i've been loving the movies about issues surrounding race and socioeconomic status
like, "get out" and "parasite" were two really really good ones. oof.
god that movie debt collectors could of been so much better done if it had quintin tarintino behind it
just imagine what he could of done with that script... oof.
don't like the actors, the costuming, the sets, or even the editing of the trailer sucked and was tasteless
it could of been another iconic legend if they just, had better artistic vision
you can tell theyre just trying to make a quick buck with this movie off their target audience though, not make art. just a corny action film.
I found out yesterday that Sony is serious about bringing a live action One Punch Man to the big screen.
The Lighthouse is a fantastic film, and I recommend it to everyone.
The mermaid sex scene doesn't measure up to the hype at all if you were wondering. Its just a 5 sec softcore, missionary style hallucination while the dude is jerking off in a shed.
i'd watch that if i had a larger tv and surround sound. I couldn't get into it but I know that with the right set up that shit would bomb me out with how great the lighting looks and the sound design
