I just want it to be straight forward like it was on SC mocking jay. Copy, paste. It worked on mobile, it worked on iPad, it works on windows, Firefox, google chrome, safari. It automatically embeds gifs, images, from anywhere, and youtube videos, vimeo videos.

To go a step farther I’d love it to imbed tweets, instagram and facebook, tumblr and Pinterest, imgur, posts- automatically, like discord does- but- better. OO and Spotify, sound cloud shares as well.

Just take screencaps if you really need to show something, otherwise what is it accomplishing for our group? 

Also, the ability to drag and drop or post files directly from your computer, ipad or phone. 

Audio files, videos, images, PDFs, jpegs, gifs, everything. I want it all to auto imbed when you share it- as any social media does. 

That'd require hosting it on this forum itself, which is a terrible idea. 

Just upload it to Imgur, like people do for other forums like Reddit for example. It's really not that much of an inconvenience to know how to use the internet.

If you could learn to code, maybe you could host your own site, or at the very least you'd understand the size of the task you're asking for as if it was just something that was the snap of a finger to do. 

Also the OP should be able to delete posts in their thread if they created it. HAHH i loved that feature on OG SC

You could always just link it, how is it difficult for you to just copy and paste a link using the link function

or try to embed it using the source code button (tho tbh idk if that works, never used it myself) 

Just screenshot or download the pic and use imgur (tho that's moderated so anything naughty or against their ToS Will be removed) or discord to upload it (again anything against their ToS Will be removed but make your own server without members and upload whatever, who's gonna tell on ya? Yourself? Nah) and then copy link.

I despise it and it’s because I designed the original PM system and then Luna ran with a Janky version of it and implemented it when it was just a rough draft and, she took the whole idea wrong and implemented it wrong and didn’t run it by me before she launched it for approval 

so the whole thing just looks incomplete to me like it was never finished (and poorly executed) in comparison to the original flawless design I had in mind

 No not delete the topics, you don’t remember how we could remove posts that were made inside of our own topic that were made by another user? It would just say that the post was hidden. On lunas forum.

That website security was also shit. If they wanted to take it down even without admin privileges, they'd likely succeed.

why 

A) Hosting fees: If the images are hosted on the site itself, it has to be stored somewhere if it's not some side website like we otherwise use now. 

B) Liability: If it's on Imgur, it's an Imgur problem, while if it's hosted on his site itself it's considered his responsibility.

This PM system already does more than enough. It even has a goofy encoding system built in if you worry about ocular eavesdropping.

He's trying to find ways to streamline the search so that it's not so intensive on the website. While not the best idea, it's not like it's some fluff choice purely.

If there were ten posts blocked, you'd have an entire page of minimized content and still have to go to the next page. It was both a bad idea and poorly executed.
