I was anorexic from ages 14- 23. Honestly, bless the kardashians for bringing big butts aka thicker body types into the mainstream. Although they obviously dont have natural bodies, it has normalized thicker woman in modeling and shifted the public preference from stick thin to at least healthy.
And here I thought that was Twerk culture, Thicc memes, and the Pornographic agenda.
I've had a lot of mixed feelings over some weight gain I've had this year. Although the number on the scale has gone up slowly, most of the weight has distributed to butt/ boob area. My BMI is still within the healthy range and seeing these changes in the mirror has helped me realize i was so thin before i wasnt healthy. I dont see this gain as bad fat, but more so my body is filling out he areas women naturally have curves now that I have the body mass to be shaped like a healthy woman and not a stick. I stopped watching tv when I was 18 and moved out of my parents house for the first time and I think his has helped me by exposing me less to edited images a woman on tv and commercials.
Fuck BMI, and fuck this excuse to brag about your voluptuous tits and ass. The industry's been pushing the hourglass figure for longer than you've been alive, not just the modeling standard of Popsicle stick fashion.
