Hello everyone.
Considering the current crisis which is happening around the world, I think it's time we have a discussion about the measures that can be taken right here, on SC. The Coronavirus is spreading rapidly and the notion of social distancing is becoming increasingly more urgent.
I have two main proposals:
1. Everyone makes a thread and stays in their own thread. They could be categorised in a streamlined fashion such as: "CoronaThread [username]" or something. If everyone just posts in their own thread and doesn't crosspost then we can slow the rate of infection on SC.
2. I also suggest that we close the forum chat for at least 3 weeks and put everyone who has participated in the past 2 days in quarantine.
Finally I would like to reach out to everyone here and ask you all to please wash your hands before logging in and out, and also before posting. Lurking should be discouraged at the very least, maybe even banned (Good I'll leave that up to you to decide) and please don't post unless completely necessary!
