how to cure depression in 3 easy steps (no meds) [GUIDE]

1. fix your sleeping schedule. you should be in bed, trying to sleep at max. 1-2 AM

2. shower every day. showering is like washing depression off of you

3. start taking basic care of yourself, cut your nails, get rid of your beard and try to brush your teeth at least once a day

Definitely not a cure, but it does help you A LOT, not just for depression but when you are feeling down or not good with yourself, just dress like you are going to a royal ball even if you plan to stay at home or to the bakery right next to your place.

Shower thoughts are like a depression thoughts purge, but often times like nightmares it can just end up with more to think about after the fact. 

It does unclench the kegals though, so it's not entirely bullshit. It's why some stress types meditate in the tub.

exercise and healthy diet are not needed, doing just the 3 steps every day is a lot for a depressed person & they shouldn't have more on the plate than they can handle

following just the 3 steps every day will cure depression and fatigue that comes with it

No I actually mentioned the two things that hadn't been mentioned before, specifically because they were lacking 

I am glad to hear you got over your depression by finally brushing your teeth and showering

However diet & regular exercise are scientifically proven to impact mental health, rather than your anecdotal DIARRHEA

It takes a very special kind of person to truly enjoy alone time, as it's otherwise typically against the human condition to desire it beyond using it as a recharge.

It helps, a lot. Like, a lot a lot, especially one's diet. 

You need to have all your essential vitamins and nutrients if you want to properly experience something. Try having fun while you're low on sugar and iron, it's no bueno. Even something like potassium can remove the dull ache in one's joints which otherwise served as a passive distraction and mood dropper before. 

Diet is significantly more important than most of your advice.

This advice would only help someone who's entirely focused on physical appearance. While it does help for some deficits, it's not enough on it's own unless the person's fixated on vanity.

this reads like you're mocking me for not showering and brushing my teeth daily while i was severely depressed

clearly, you have no comprehensive idea of depression

severely depressed people can hardly get out of bed due to fatigue. they spend half a day sleeping

you speak about optional shit you read in some article, i speak from first hand experience

a severely depressed person won't do your shitty exercises and diet right off the bat, theyre asking for too much

There are other reasons to look after yourself, but your advice is all about appearances save for the first step. How does trimming your nails and shaving provide anything for you other than aesthetic advantages for instance? 

Also why isn't diet important? To clarify, it's diet, not diet-ing.
