These are just associations you have with the stereotype though no? Connotations. 

You can be a clean, normal person who also smokes to feel better sometimes lol

i smoke weed all the time and i don't look like a hippy at all. that being said i vape which is much cleaner i guess. People who can't smoke weed cause it makes them lazy are weak and pathetic. If you cant be motivated when you are stoned then you lack motivation.
