So I just discovered this little miracle today. If you live in America, I highly suggest you use it.
I've seen cards advertising it at my old pharmacy, and my Doctor today suggest I download the app because the Adderall coupon makes it cheaper than most health insurance copays, and he was right! Each card or app has a member ID # and you use this as a coupon to get prescription drugs cheaper.
Now I'm here wondering, how tf is there a coupon that works for nearly everything, that doesn't ask for any personal information from the user, and pays more for your prescription than the health insurance you literally pay for- AND they are just handing these out and pharmacies are accepting them? The Pharmacies do not have a choice. When a Pharmacy joins a Pharmacy Benefit Management plan they have to agree to all the terms of the plan which includes accepting all discounts related to the plan. GoodRx works by compiling all of these possible PBM discounts together into one app or user ID card where the ID has access to every discount.
Pretty fucking dope I must say.
