In this world, the loudest and most confident is ALWAYS right

Facts and statistics don't matter if the person delivering them has the charisma of a brick wall.

You will ALWAYS get further in arguments/discussions by simply learning debate skills or grinding out social proof (like a PhD) as opposed to actually brushing up on your knowledge. Why is this relevant?

Edit: Shit I didn't finish and hit enter and posted this too early. Oh well. Can't find the delete button. Will come back high again and post something else tomorrow. Penis.

I disagree with your argument. An adult loudly proclaiming inaccurate information to a quiet person who knows more just looks like a meathead dunce.

Sc is pretty boring.

Knowing less is actually the key to confidence in debates. [Source]

...until you put them both in front of an audience.

People are dumb monkeys basically. Replace loudest and most confident with most charismatic.

Maybe it depends on the audience and how easily manipulated they are.

you have a point though. hitler always yelled.

but it's more about what he said that persuaded people the most but yeah, maybe the yelling helped.

Hitler practiced his speeches a lot. It's more about how he said it. He practiced voice intonation, planned out the tempo of the speech, the moments where he would be silent, and so on. A Hitler speech is a very well crafted charismatic speech.

Winning is not the same as being right. You can win an argument and still be wrong
