Makeup update, I received a jeffree star mystery liquid lip from his February box, i don’t know if it’s the mystery shade from 2020 or 2019 as the seller didn’t specify but, i knew i wanted it so i got it beech. 

I am a jeffree collector so, mystery box items are kind of the thing I’m most interested in hunting down as they’re the most rare, next to limited edition collabs. I have almost everything on his website already so, that’s why the mystery items are what I’m after. 

I ordered the bloodlust collection obviously, and it’s really stunning in person. I would like to film a review on the entire collection at some point, just because i have a lot of thoughts and want to do a very in depth analysis. 

I’m going to like make a list of all the items i have and all the items i need to complete my collection, most likely on my wix blog. Yes i made a blog, There’s nothing on it yet so i will post that link when i actually have it ready. But i set up the actual coding bull shit of it so it’s laid out how i like and runs really smoothly across all devices so that’s nice. 

I’m into collecting from a few brands, jeffree star however is my favorite brand to collect from. 

I keep up with all the beauty boxes and releases still, just to see what’s out there. Market research i call it. I find the new packaging and trends very interesting to know about, up and coming brands. PR hauls for example from influencers have a lot of that in it. 

I also keep up with makeup news on various makeup news channels and websites, not just beauty guru’s. And on twitter as well. Like I found someone who made a little makeup beauty shop sort of store- similar to lip stick nick’s in Los Angeles. 

These do very well, just like blow dry salons and beauty pop up shops- simply because they are cute, and exciting. Brands like glossier, Kylie cosmetics, huda beauty. Have capitalized on the magic of pop up shops. 

Where as some people take the brand collab route, like MMMItchell collabing with beauty bay, etc. I really like his products, and I think he should have a brand of his own- as well as the other popular makeup artists. 

Then the highest end beauty, I keep tabs on as well, just out of genuine curiosity. I like to know the details on what the best brushes are, the best of the best face powders, concealers, foundations. Following application techniques. Etc. These high end luxury brands are fun to keep up with but in my opinion they lack in flare and marketing, though their quality is insanely high. Gucci lipsticks for example, are the best lipsticks i”be ever seen. Dior products, astonishing. Kevyn Aucoin, Tom Ford, Chanel, YSL, Marc Jacobs, and more. 

But the fun and colorful stuff, is the best. Is so fun. 

I guess I should work on my blog collector’s inventory list. 

I’ll just write out all the products there are under a brand, and then put a line through the ones i have. In chronological launch-release date order/ collection order. And then collabs on the side. 

Nothing interesting, but for me it is lol. 

But yeah I also got, two new abh palettes for my collection, so it’s currently complete now.

The red hat from that collection and the black heart sweater from that collection as well. And the two mystery glosses from that one. 

For sale i have the Kylie gloss collection for sale. (I had two so, might as well sell the other one). And the Anastasia sugar glow kit, (also had two) so. Selling both of those at the moment. 

The only thing i wasn’t able to get from the bloodlust collection was the supreme frost highlighter thing, and then one of the glosses from the collection idk which shade I’ll look into it. Because i woke up a little late past the launch time so those two things sold out :( 

i also like the merch of course from jeffree, which come with jeffree star hangers now. I’m living. Truly living. And the purple grinder, so cute. Fuck me. Lol. :)
