And then isolated on the islands and needing to compete with other rats, evolved into the mysterious and elusive tree dwelling uromys vika we know and love today.

I think you have a fine post here, but here's the problem- you're putting time and effort into analyzing this new rat, which is cool... but you're doing it on a website full of disgusting individuals who are only interested in bullying you and so what you have to say will never be appreciated. There is no point putting real time and effort for such losers. I would advise to find a more scientific oriented forum that has more mature and accomplished people to post these kinds of things on. And don't let these people make you not take yourself seriously. They are the ones who should not be taken seriously, they are the lowest of lowlifes on this earth, complete bottom of the barrel scum. Pay them no mind, and find a more productive group to associate with. Don't waste your effort on these clowns.

Link to my take on this creature. It has more curved inscissors and claws. I would guess the curved claws are so it can scoop food from the circular holes it creates via the use of said incisors. But thats my own theory, which would make sense if its anything lile other members of the uromys genus which anylysis of its skull did reflect.
