Kirby's easy to learn but hard to master. Him being super low weight works against him, and even with so much recovery those moves tend to be predictable. You'll want to learn to dodge instead of just shielding, and Kirby becomes a lot harder to deal with once you learn to do short hops (especially with his hammer move and his airborn neutral attack). Also doing a sort of airborn serpentine with your inhale jumps can make you less blatantly smashable, and blending air dodges into it can be what single-handedly saves you from losing. His grab's also pretty nice, but it can feel unnatural at first to intermix grabs with combat.
I tried some Kirby for a little while, but my main's been Lucas. I had to learn how he moves to be able to learn how to PK-abuse him.
