Why the fuck are you making fun of med for being born as a little person? All people are beautiful even thoes who suffer from forms of dwarfism
"Beauty is in the eye of the Beholder" is the only reason why this argument has any resemblance of traction. By the standards of beauty meanwhile, that's another point entirely, as much of what is and isn't considered desirable isn't just hardwired into us by culture, but by the biological imperative. Enjoying big breasts and voluptuous hips for example isn't really an acquired taste, and people preferring to date within their race can be explained through parental peer modeling.
In less words, some's beauty is significantly more apparent to strangers than others', and many who approve of culturally granted forms of "ugly" are usually doing it over reasons inherent within themselves (lack of confidence, kinks, LGBTQ shaming, etc).
Unpretty reminders are something no one wants, hence the first glance distaste towards the elderly and amputees. It's no mystery as to why we need PSAs to remind us why they deserve our pity instead of our outlets for contempt.
