What mythical/supernatural creature is most powerful to you?
Ever hear of The Tarrasque?
Omg, I have not! Where's that from?
What mythical/supernatural creature is most powerful to you?
because they fart poisonous butterflies.
Ever hear of The Tarrasque?
Omg, I have not! Where's that from?
It's gigantic, it can't die, it eats everything, it regenerates super fast, and the only way to stop it is to feed it until it falls back asleep, in which nature grows over him and his location basically becomes lost to time until the next time it wakes up.
It's basically a D&D endgame boss the designers made early on as a "You can't beat this" creature, and it's been recreated and referenced many times since.
Edit: Oh, and it's immune to like, a surprising amount of things. It can't be shapeshifted, it's immune to fire, it's carapace can deflect harmful spells, it can't bleed, it can't be diseased, it can't be melted by acid, it can't be petrified, it can't be paralyzed, it can't be poisoned...
Apparently it understands one language, a cryptic one spoken by "inhuman or otherworldly creatures", but it can't speak back and will have little to no desire to actually listen to you.
