Witchcraft is trial and error TC

If something works, keep doing it, if it doesnt drop it. Ya ppl can be dumb and get demon possessed using Ouija boards, I fully believe that can happen but oh well

It's better for people to experiment than to be too scared to try anything new or not "100 percent verified to be safe no matter what"

TC, every modern witch should know the history of paganism and Witchcraft and religious and spiritual history of all previous cultures in general, and I do not care what tradition or coven you're a part of, with the internet and it being 2020 you should know the history of and basic pronciples of all modern religions especially the more heavily witchcraft-based

So you're actually looking into the past now instead of just proclaiming your own power in the name of New Age?

Good, this is a step in the right direction. Depth is more important than the ego.

No one magician/sorcer/witch or cult leader has all the answers

Bingo, I've been telling you this about yourself for months.

and unless being part of a coven is your thing and you like that community aspect, you should create your own practice and highly finely tune it to your specific mind and what is most effective for you personally.

While I do agree that it's good to find your own space within standard rites and practices, I also find splinter faiths desperate when their number of followers is small, and if they lack lore backing then they tend to not coast as far.

I'd recommend joining a coven so that you may refine what they have to teach into something closer to your vision... as opposed to avoiding covens and just messing around. You never know, your power could end up overpowering the rest of the coven, granting you converts and the warlock of your dreams.

Picking and choosing from all ideas and traditions that came before you, and creating your own as well is the best way to go in 2020 as a modern witch imo, especially if you're an introvert.

I'd take the word "mystic" here over "witch", and I guess by your terms I must be a witch then, huh?

I guess all the black clothes I have make more sense now.

If you're an extrovert, def find a specific coven that lines up with your personality and goals best ye, but trying to suggest to an introverted witch who enjoys their alone time and private rituals more than socializing and having to work with others to do the same is kind of rude

There's more to be found in challenging yourself towards newer experiences in relation to the hurdles you're otherwise facing, that's how one grows from conflict.

If being alone is what's easy for you, then finding other people is where there's power. If being with others is easy, then being alone is where there's power. It's less about balance and more about seeking the unexpected.

If you'd rather not grow and just sit there as you are for the rest of your natural life, then by all means don't challenge yourself and just stagnate.

but you are uneducated in spiritual etiquette and respect of others beliefs and values,  so it's to be expected of you to have such "interesting" opinions

Have you ever thought that my being provoking towards people could be intentional? I get more out of people with vinegar than with honey, and prefer the costs of being brash over the costs of being inauthentic.

I'd otherwise say that I'm typically the one visiting religious material more than others, which means that I'm at least trying more than those who "more politely" chose to say nothing and consequently learn nothing from it.

Ofc they do, that's the entire fun of witchcraft is using the tools, even making your own and create elaborate awesome highly detailed beautiful rituals. The more thought and enjoyment and energy put into your rituals, and the more specific and focused you are, the faster you will have it materialize (for some things, others need time no matter what.

It's more like the more you put into it, the more that you'll find yourself believing in it.

Complex people need complex rituals, while simpler people don't need to try as hard. It's just a means of appeasing the self.

Just like planting a seed, some plants grow very very quickly and some need time and extra nurturing) :)

Artificial motivation is still motivation, I guess. If casting a spell gives you the bravery to leave the house, more power to you, but I won't call it as if it's something that it's otherwise not.

I'm just explaining that you can technically use witchcraft successfully without any tools other than intention and visualization, if you wanted.

Only if you're casting spells on yourself.

Most people do not know this about witchcraft, there is a lot of misinfo out there and people who want to refuse to see that any ritual at all part of any religion or spiritual practice is technically a form of witchcraft

Who's to say the stuff you've stumbled onto isn't the misinfo?

Um, Who is to say the stuff you've stumbled onto isn't LMAO you could say that about literally any organization

I can map enough of Wicca's recent history to the point of calling most of it's modern practicioners inauthentic.

It's like going to Hot Topic to call yourself a gawth, except with a longer story to follow.

Witchcraft more than anything else is highly personal, there is no misinfo when what you're learning to do is master your own Will and how to manifest what you want into your life

Are you kidding we're our own worst enemies, and the misinformation we sell ourselves is the most insidious and believable.

And nope, you can use only visualization and intention to cast spells on others too. And they work :):)

You'd at least need to employ some form of interaction, it can't be done by just focusing hard enough.

Manipulation is a form of spellweaving in many people's minds, and the tricks that work for it can easily be misconstrued as magic towards the layman.

Witchcraft is trial and error TC
It's also a ton of research, a codex of subcultural lingo, and a bunch of other shit that you don't tend to enjoy about higher learning (ex: the sciences).

You used to go on about it being whatever you wanted it to be, 'cuz "intention".

If something works, keep doing it, if it doesnt drop it.
It's worth figuring out why it works, too.

Ya ppl can be dumb and get demon possessed using Ouija boards, I fully believe that can happen but oh well
I dunno maaan, the spirits seem to ignore me when I play with them.

It's worth trying new things, but it's worth doing so with scientific rigor so that you remain a mathematician instead of a numerologist.

You're doing exactly as I'd hoped you'd do from these talks.

Where'd you get lost?

Ad hominems will take away from your arguments as opposed to bolster them.

Were I as petty as you, I'd do the same back and that's all either of us would be saying, but I'm going to try to be the better person here and help us try to get back towards an actual conversation.

Ya, cuz "intention" but what you don't get is that seed grows bigger and bigger as you become more advanced and are shown by either your intuition or spirit guides what the next step is to take your intention to a greater more profound level

If that includes researching a certain tradition of witchcraft (in my case, many different traditions) then you do that. And if it includes joining a coven, sticking with one tradition for a while and "mastering" it or even your whole life than you do that too
