Me: *talking about some job stuff* "so he dropped me because he thought my burglary meant I was a thief, even though I didn't stealing anything -- Judge "No, you just lit it on fire"
Judge: "Do you realize you have ideas of grandeur?"
Me: "Can you elaborate... I don't follow."
Judge: "Of course not. "
This judge really hates my guts. I think she can see I have no remorse and give zero fucks. I try to hide it, but the whole situation is very amusing to me. She treats everyone else very well for the most part.
It's tough for me to control my assertiveness, even in court. I treat authority like I treat everyone else, and I think she views that as disrespectful. Since I'm "in the moment", I tend not to filter my words. Despite her sarcastic remarks, she did say I looked very good. My lawyer remarked that aswell. I think it's the clean shaven face, and possibly the suit. But maybe, mentally, I am different. Lawyer said I seemed like I have more structure and less, "all over the place".
All in all it was good. I got her to cut my restitution payments in HALF. So right now, I'm chilling.
