The debate ended over a year ago with a clearly defined winner. You can't just sit here and say you haven't lost just because you don't want to believe it, that'd take this from a battle of wits towards a battle of will, of ego, of faith. 

This isn't a battle of faith, this is a structural quandary that you've still yet to solve.

The ability to facilitate an actual discussion instead of playing in tar's reason enough to restart instead of whatever this continues to be. 

The only thing you're really trying to salvage at this point is your pride, which frankly would be easier to do over a series of discussions rather than continuing to stare at this loss in disbelief.

You seem incapable of admitting defeat, even this far along. Can you even reference a case in SC where you lost, or are you just always winning?

I don't understand why you keep repeating yourself over and over like this. Do you think I'm going to suddenly agree with you 43 pages in? Do you think I'm stubbornly refusing to admit defeat because of pride or do you think I actually believe I'm right?

Your implication here seems a tad revisionist. Legga has been poking me about this topic for over a month now, all over the forum. I ignored most of it, but after finding his latest post in this thread I felt it was only fair to actually respond in good faith given how much effort he put in. So I did. He basically invited me to continue this in some shape or form and I took him up on it. You on the other hand jumped in, pretty much uninvited, with no interest in actually continuing any of this. Seems better for us to just agree to disagree then.

Me neither, you clearly don't get it even after all of this time and effort. Even with sheer reinforcement you're still stuck like 18 months later in the same place, except with the knowledge less fresh and even less willingness to look over the older material.

It's more like if I keep pushing you might eventually have a Satori moment or something. 

That was at least what it felt like it became to me around... page 20 or so. The fact that this continues to go on even now is a testament towards the absurdity within you.

I don't think you can see how you've lost over blind spots and perceptual filters, where things like pride make for your inability to humbly concede defeat, or for that matter even see it. It's as if the idea of losing to Legga is too insane to comprehend, so you're stuck in a long lasting loop instead of acquiring the keys to escape this prison. 

This topic stands as a testament towards that, similarly to how you couldn't escape "Gun Control" in the past.

Well yeah, he won, he's earned it. 

Is him brandishing your loss scorning your pride? You can't just watch someone gloat over their well deserved victory? I don't see this as any different from our room to brag about winning in the [ S E I G E ] topic. 

It must be all about winning for you, which in itself is one of the root causes for your losing.

He puts effort into a lot more posts than just this topic, yet the sheer concentration inside this one with all the minor exterior pokes in other topics was enough to bait you back.

He already knows he's won, this is just you salting your own wounds. 

He returned to the classics and out of pride you're stuck building a sequel. Sequels tend to be too self-aware and repetitious for my tastes normally, so here I am stating my complaints.
