I just don't view men as people that bend over and submit. I think of Leonidas from 300 or Tubs and Crockett, not um.... taking it up the butt. I'm not a homophobe or anything, I have plenty of gay friends. But the concept is odd to me.

It takes courage to know when to act against your more immediate character. Someone who is meek will have to work hard to stand out, but someone who's loud will have to work equally hard to reign themselves in, whether that means they accept help when they don't want to, knowing better than to mouth off at their bosses, respecting someone for their superior ability...
Bending over and submitting's not all cuffs and collars, that's just it being taken to a literal extreme. It takes strength to take charge, but it takes endurance and understanding to know better.
