There's a link between genes that cause autism, and intelligence. Basically, genes that contribute to autism risk also contribute to high IQ.
Which is weird, obviously, because I think we (and ~all research) agree that people with autism generally have lower IQ than the general populace. So what's happening?
The point is if you don't have autism, but a higher genetic risk for autism, you are more likely to be highly intelligent (higher cognitive ability, verbal-numerical reasoning, educational attainment).
*Mind blow*
Nobody really understands the full story, because there could be many possible causes (people generally agree there's a link but don't know the "why"). One explanation is that autism-related genes generally increase intelligence.
Apparently this theory answers another perplexing question: If autism makes people less likely to reproduce, why would autism risk genes stick around in the human population?
Well, that is because autism-related genes are being actively selected (increased in the gene pool) by reproduction.
So the way I'm reading this: If you're autistic, your chances of having children go down, but if you have a high risk of autism, your chances of reproduction go up.
So I suggest that we do a social experiment:
We take all the autists in our societies and make them fuck all our women, passing on their superior high-IQ Vulcan genes. We select the most autistic ones of them, and repeat the process in one retarded harem.
Soon, we will have outliers born from abominations surpassing even Albert Einstein and the like, and we can become either the smartest or the most retarded species in the Universe.
Thank you.
