What's a favorite memory you have of dancing?

Back in 2012, at the end of a house party at my place, I kicked everybody out because I wanted to dance with a girl(while being extremely drunk). They obviously complied and I had my dance over some song she picked because idk music ^^.

A shadow not so dark.

Clubbing under the influence used to be pretty fun, but I never really found myself able to fully give myself in to that energy.

Because they could never fully express themselves, still using their male persona.

Letting go of my need to be in control of what's going on, of feeling safe, is a challenge to the point of boredom and stagnation. In a sense, I cannot control the need for control, for autonomy, which means I can't control something about myself, and that the "control" I believed at one point to be purposeful was itself not a choice, but a restrictive crutch.

The willingness to do things that could be construed as mistakes later is more free than to live with no scars, and what times I've been able to just go with life instead of resist it I've found myself in the middle of new and passionate things.

It's easy to tell ourselves that the things we do are our choices, our own decisions, but try to act against them and you'll see how much of your "choices" aren't really choices at all.
