She used to stalk me in high school, leaving me weird little notes, watched me play D&D with her friend's older brother, did tech for the shows I was in, stuff like that that had us around each other a lot. On top of that, she was schizophrenic like I am, but more prone to magical thinking tangents.
I directed all of that misguided rage at herself towards Sadism, and we mutually lured each other away from our fiances. She and I ended up going out in college when she ended up attending the same school I was already going to.
It was a strange and powerful time in my life, but through her I met a lot of other furries and picked up some weird experiences from it as a fly on the wall. She's doing fairly well now having found her way, but she had some pretty rough chapters growing up.
Many labels are sad ones, but why people adopt them are still human.
