That's probably because you wanted not to get auto logged out and if you don't press the log out button, the server cant know if you have logged out.

Anyway i will set the auto-log out to 6 hours instead of 48 hours of inactivity which is the current number.

Time will tell, i need to know more about the pattern of when this happens and if people really aren't getting logged out at the same time as they did before.

It'd be good if there was a button to reply to certain people's posts in a thread.

 Yeah this is the thing I want the most right now.

Also, chat sometimes freezes for me. And when I hit send, I see other people's replies at once.

I was against the idea because there is a quote button, but if more people want it, i will add it. I think you are the 3rd asking, including ed.

The chat refreshes faster when people type(it refreshes every 2 seconds when the chat is active, maybe it should be 1 second) and slower(can reach up to 1 min to 2 minutes depending on if you are logged in or not, the time increases the less active the chat is) when there is no activity. When you send a message it refreshes instantly, so it looks like that.

The chat doesn't freeze exactly, the controls are disabled after you send a message until the message is sent. It nice to have that, because it makes sure the flow of messages are send correctly(if you send a message and i dont freeze the controls, you can send another message and the second message might be send to the server first, which will make it show in the chat first and after that the first message will be send, causing them to swap places, if you get what i mean). But i did just have an idea how this can be fixed and made much better, will do it in the future and disable the controls being disabled.

Could we have the ability to change thread titles after posting a thread, and then editing the post? Just to correct mistakes or to completely change the name of the title to confuse people. 

But mainly to correct spelling errors.

 It did log me out tho. The avatar was displayed, but i was unable to comment on threads or in chat. I think the auto log out is keeping avis displayed up to 48 hours but not keeping the actual account active. 

Although, after the time you made this post, i did open my phone after ~3 hours inactivity and find i was still logged in and able to comment. Danke

on SC if a user logs in, and then closes the tab, it removes the mfrom the list of online users

but on this new SC, if i login, and then close the tab... i still show as on the list

the list of online users is not a true list of online users... its instead a list of users who logged in, but then left without logging out. its kinda dishonest

well i disagree... i think it just makes your site look like its more active than it rally is. it suits your agenda...

but users sending pms to eachother they get ignored becuase they arent really here.... it is misleading

the list of online users... my vision was to be like a bar... you come into the bar.. you sit down.. and you show up in the list of online users... when you walk away from the bar... you dissapear....

but with your design... the user can leave the bar, but as long as they dont tell the person at the door they are leaving they still appear as if they are there.... it just doesnt make sense...

this is the first truely dishonest tactic ive seen here.. but its effective. now you can brag about how you have 15 people online when really you have 4
