That guy doesnt remind me of kurt at all.
they're both dead after having met Courtney love that's all
also there was another 'boy rockstar' cutie that had all the charm and good looks, similar to her model boy, and to her Kurt Cobain- before either of them.
he was a punk rocker who was up and coming in the Seattle area, and he wound up dead after having met her as well.
just a weird coincidence. drug od.
he was very similar to Kurt and this boy, in that he looked like the boy, but, he was a rockstar like Kurt.
was about to be the next big thing in the 90s when he just, yeah. died.
James moorland was his name and his band was the leaving trains. this was their album art work.

It brings us to the point of needing to mention that Courtney has constantly altered her stance on Kurt according to how she’s wanted to be seen in the media over the years. Let’s use what happened with Kurt as a launching point here. She’s a fame-whore and power hungry and her method of achieving each was by using popular men to secure a new level of celebrity for herself. Therefore, the man she would seem interested in would change according to what she wanted. If one fell through, she’d exploit another. After Kurt died, she ran off with a multitude of male celebrities and insisted that they were her soulmates and fathers to unborn children that she pretended to have over a course of 20 years.
Her thing is that if she knows enough famous people it’ll mean that she’s famous. She equates fame with success. Thus, whilst exploiting various men, she uses their fame to gain fame for herself. Even though she came from money and always had access to it (including having somewhat of a famous family), she ultimately chose to exploit men for power that she didn’t actually need.
Her entire career is summarized as being the biggest waste of 30 years ever.
(See her full history below the cut)
pre kurt cobain (1980 - 1990)
Prior to Kurt Cobain being in the picture, Courtney practiced forcing herself into the lives of the men she wanted to exploit when she followed bands around England and New York in the 80s. Some of them, like Ian from the Bunnymen were clueless to being used, but others like Michael Mooney, Julian Cope, James Moreland, and Rozz Rezebak weren’t so naive. Moreland, in the midst of temporarily being married to her, was one of the first to mention how utterly monstrous and manipulative she can be. Similarly, in the midst of having numerous ‘cherry popped’ stories from Courtney about them taking her virginity, Mooney and Cope were more than happy to echo Moreland’s sentiments.
She basically stalked them, coerced them to interact with her, and invented stories and wives’ tales about her relationships with them to build a name for herself from scene to scene. Rozz Rezebak’s account is a combination of them and didn’t hold back in recollecting that she’d nearly sexually assaulted him(note - he refers to her as ‘THE GUY FROM CREED’) after months of stalking him at his college. Then even though the interviewer recently made their blog content private, this link featured an interview with him where he talked about how she’d stolen things from him and made his relationships toxic. A more ready example that’s infamous is when he listed her manipulative tendencies he’d experienced in Kurt and Courtney (start at 28:13, end around the 34:00 mark)
post kurt years (1994 - present)
Trent Reznor, Russell Crowe, Jeff Buckley,
Brad Pitt, and Steve Coogan
The sick thing is that that ain’t even the end of it though. That was just the beginning. She’d later decide to warp Trent Reznor’s sympathy for her into a relationship and claim to be pregnant with his child, and do the same thing to her former manager Jim Barber (mentioned below), Russell Crowe (Entertainment Weekly 2002 reference), and one night fling Steve Coogan. During the 90s she also (unsurprisingly) set up a date with Jeff Buckley to plant a headline, to which, Jeff himself confessed to feeling used by it (ctrl/cmd +f - “jeff”). It wasn’t so much a date as it was (Buckley was under the impression) an art appreciation night between acquaintances. However the ‘date’ became immortalized as one of many potential ‘flings’ Courtney designed to appear attractive and relevant at the time. Then, if we’re going to follow the same pattern, she denied they’d even dated at all in 2000, yet she insisted to Frances that they ‘did in fact date’ 10 years later in 2011. Prior to his death he even got a chance to take a sarcastic jab at her in 94′ in reference to the incited rumor that they were an item (ctrl/cmd + f - “courtney”).
Similarly, in 1995 she also planted the wives’ tale that she had fucked Brad Pitt, to which, in a very confused Buckley like fashion, denied with a raised eyebrow (ctrl/cmd + f - “courtney”). During the same year she also went as far to say that he’d given her a 4.5 carat diamond ‘friendship ring’ that she playfully denied signified dating (ctrl/cmd + f - “brad”), despite screaming, “Are you mad that I fucked Brad Pitt?!” in concert in the midst of a misogynistic rant to a female attende on stage that year. This is also in spite of the fact that she attempted ( **in a very Kate Moss’ tale like fashion **) to deny it later in 2013.
We need to talk about the damsel-in-distress trope she used to bag her some men who didn’t want her though -
